About the VP, Marketing Position
Verndale is looking for a Vice President of Marketing to provide senior leadership in the development, implementation and execution of the company’s marketing and business strategy in alignment with the corporate strategy and objectives. This person will need to have experience in the professional services and marketing technology industry.
In this role you will partner with sales to integrate marketing strategies with the sales process, PR, collateral, social media and website requirements. This position will manage a small team of people as well as external vendors, and serve as a part of the Executive Leadership Team.
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership and progressive marketing management. The ideal candidate will have national marketing experience and an in depth understanding of branding, lead generation and partnering with sales to strategically drive revenue.
Key aspects of this role will be focusing on targeted marketing programs that drive awareness of the company’s services. This role will have overall responsibility for the go-to-market strategy, inbound & outbound marketing, events, content development, account-based marketing and social media.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of technology and the digital agency landscape
- Experience with marketing automation, modern lead nurturing programs and methods, and Channel Marketing
- Track record of social media marketing and it’s relation to an overall marketing program
- Public relations experience
- Trade Show and Event Management
- Content Strategy and Development
- Understanding the concepts of Search Engine Optimization/Marketing
- Experience with productizing a service offering
