We are looking for a highly organized and visionary VP of Marketing to lead our Marketing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll create and implement an integrated marketing strategy that will drive lead generation and will position TempAlert as the thought leader in sensor-driven decision making. You’ll oversee a data centric marketing operation that uses metrics to optimize performance and track progress. We have a product that is leading the movement to the connected enterprise: your job will be to manage the messaging, campaigns, and events needed to define the industry standard.

 

As VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and tactics needed to operate an integrated marketing machine. You will work closely with sales and product development to define target markets, refine and improve the product value proposition, and implement the best market-penetration strategy.

 

Our incoming VP of Marketing will bring a proven track record overseeing and implementing successful marketing strategies targeting enterprise customers. It's critical that you have a modern approach to marketing; one that integrates inbound marketing and outbound marketing, with competitive positioning, content production, and differentiated messaging. We are looking for someone who has a unique blend of leadership and vision with strong operational, project management, and communication skills. 

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL:

  • Learn about our products, our customers, our target audience, our messaging/positioning, and our differentiators
  • Review our marketing systems, processes, and collateral, and prioritize your improvement initiatives
  • Work with business development and customer success teams to understand the entire customer lifecycle
  • Create your first draft of a marketing dashboard that will be used to track marketing activities and effectiveness

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU'LL:

  • Utilize market, customer, and competitive research to segment and define target markets, refine and improve the product value proposition and implement the best market-penetration strategy
  • Implement a thought leadership strategy and content development program that will serve as the foundation of a world-class inbound marketing program
  • Make initial recommendations to improve the number and quality of leads that we generate
  • Make initial recommendations to improve our product and marketing collateral
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure all marketing goals, campaigns and strategies are aligned

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU'LL:

  • Plan and execute an integrated lead-generation program that combines activities including marketing-driven campaigns, sales-driven campaigns, nurturing programs, SEO, and PPC
  • Manage all aspects of marketing planning, budgeting, metrics and reporting
  • Bring leadership, vision and creativity to ensure best practices, process, measurement and forecasting to achieve revenue goals

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU'LL:

  • Drive product/market fit for new product ideas and opportunities
  • Build out the capabilities of the marketing team to fill gaps needed to execute the marketing plan
  • Drive and implement all marketing activities to ensure on-brand positioning and awareness across all aspects of the marketing mix, inbound and outbound including: brand marketing, lead generation, content marketing, sales enablement, public relations, partner and channel marketing, digital marketing, creative services, customer and internal communications, event marketing and social media
  • Launch a customer advisory group as a means of ongoing feedback on product roadmap, competitive landscape
