Summary:

NetCracker has an immediate full time opening for a Vice President, Marketing, to own the full marketing function, including Corporate marketing, Solutions marketing, Customer-specific marketing engagements and events, Demand generation programs, Social Media engagement, Branding, Advertising, Public relations, and Marketing operations. The role will involve working closely with Corporate Strategy and Product Marketing functions.

As part of the core strategy team based in Waltham, MA, VP Marketing will be responsible for owning and driving the marketing function, creating the platform, organization and programs for industry and customer engagement, and supporting and building a team to run programs in all facets of marketing.

Experience and proven track record in Corporate communications and marketing, solutions marketing, managing and running large industry and internal events and programs, and track record of successful marketing campaigns is critical.

 Responsibilities:

Corporate Marketing

  • Working closely with the chief strategy officer, continue to drive and re-inforce the market leadership of Netcracker in the industry through innovative marketing programs and engagement with the broader industry. Adjust and evolve the messaging and positioning of the corporate messaging and positioning. Leveraging the PR functions and other resources ensure Netcracker’s brand, image and industry recognition reflects its leadership position in the market.

Solutions Marketing

  • Working closely with the product marketing and sales, develop and run programs for solutions marketing targeted at specific set of buyers and industry segments within the BSS, OSS and SDN/NFV domains. This would include leveraging the demand generation platforms, customer success stories and other engagements to ensure high visibility and adoption of Netcracker’s industry solutions

Branding, Messaging and Advertising

  • Ensure all marketing content and deliverables are on brand and message. Evolve brand and messaging as necessary. Leverage social media and demand generation platforms to reinforce customer successes, and messaging to the industry and customers.

Events & Customer Programs

  • Partnering closely with sales, manage and run global industry and customer events. Run programs around industry and customer events to drive visibility and deeper customer and prospect engagements. Manage and run internal events globally

Qualifications: 

  • 7-10 years’ experience in comparable Corporate Marketing or Solutions marketing role
  • A solid understanding of the IT industry, preferably communications industry, with emphasis on any or most of the following segments: Billing, CRM, OSS, Assurance, Enterprise applications (ERP etc.) and/or software services
  • Solid experience in running multiple, parallel marketing programs and strong program management skills
  • Past experience building and managing global marketing teams
  • Proven track record of building and running successful marketing campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology related subjects, MBA would be preferable.
  • Background and experience in presenting, engaging and working with CxO and executive levels
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment
  • Background in working in a matrixed and collaborative approach that brings good resolution decisions to tough questions and issues.
  • Strategic thinking while executing with great attention to detail.
