Technical Lead - Managed Success
Rapid7’s Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service delivers world class, 24/7/365 threat detection and incident response services for our customers. By employing multiple threat detection methodologies including behavior analysis, threat intelligence, and threat hunts, the MDR team identifies both known and unknown threats across customer environments. Our customers are a good mix of small/medium business, mid-market, and enterprise, giving us unique insights into threats that affect organizations of all sizes in all industries.
The Technical Lead will be responsible for the technical on-boarding, troubleshooting and problem diagnosis for MDR customers (with an opportunity to support all Rapid7 Managed solutions in the future.) The role will include defining and improving processes to drive scale and working directly with customers on their deployments.

- Design deployment improvements, ongoing maturity and operational efficiencies for managed services delivery
- Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with deployment and service delivery
- Responsible for all Rapid7 Managed Services product deployments
- Construct creative, solution-based approaches to architecture design, implementation and production roll-out
- Communicate deployment details in a highly effective manner to customer end users
- Advise on deployment best practices as they relate to Rapid7 technologies
- Build and maintain meaningful customer relationships in the pursuit of driving impeccable customer satisfaction

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Information Systems, Development, Information System Technologies, Management Information Systems) or equivalent experience
- Technical/Security Skills:
- Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems
- General scripting or object oriented programming knowledge and experience is a big plus
- Network security technologies; firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, content filtering, VPN, DLP, anti-malware, etc.
- Understanding of Security best practices
