Welcome to MOO – our mission is simple: great design for everyone. Want to join us? We’re award-winning, design-led, technology-driven and powered by some pretty awesome people. You might be one of them.

MOO WHO?

We set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we’ve come a long way since. Today we’re a 500 strong team (we’re thinking of getting jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.

Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you’ll find us in Boston, MA, as well as Providence and Lincoln, RI and Denver, CO. And we’re still growing! That’s where you come in...

We need an experienced, confident and creative social media manager to help MOO build on our already-solid social presence. We’re looking for someone with a creative, inventive imagination that evolves as fast as the set of channels that you’ll be managing. We need someone who can effortlessly combine the creative with the strategic – who can respond to a campaign brief without losing sight of an overarching channel strategy, and someone who’s as comfortable talking colour palettes and managing comments as they are crunching content metrics.

Reporting into MOO’s Head of Content and Social, it’ll be your job to manage MOO’s organic social media presence – making sure that everything is on brand, channel-appropriate and performing as best as it can. From Instagram stories to LinkedIn videos, you’ll be responsible for planning, delivering and governing organic content across these channels.

We’ll also need you to creatively manage production of content too – so a hands-on understanding of copywriting and design is crucial. You’ll be fluent and familiar with all the major social networks – and you’ll love taking the opportunity to advise on where MOO should make its next move.

If you’re a hands-on, social media enthusiast who built up your experience in community or content management, and are looking for an opportunity to step up in seniority, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Hold responsibility for managing all organic content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, G+, Pinterest and YouTube
  • Be part of proactive conversations with our customers to deliver the surprise and delight of the brand
  • Manage social media guidelines for use by other teams within the company – eg customer service and marketing
  • Work closely with the rest of the content team to play your part in establishing and delivering MOO’s joined-up, multi-channel content strategy
  • Report on performance across all social channels, measuring KPIs including community size and post engagement
  • Execute a clear planning and governance process – using past performance to inform future campaign and BAU content
  • Combine big-picture thinking with a razor-sharp eye for detail
  • An understanding of brand tone of voice
  • An ability to own responsibility for both channel and campaign goals
  • Keep abreast of developments within social media to help MOO become known for its social presence

About You

  • The person we appoint to this role will be enthusiastic, imaginative, optimistic and keen to work as part of a small but perfectly formed team that has a lot of opportunity for change. To be considered for the role, you’ll need to show you have:
  • Established professional social media experience, either for an agency or similar organisation to us
  • Experience delivering on-brand social content for a global audience
  • An understanding of the world of design
  • Professional fluency with all major social channels – especially Facebook and Instagram
  • An understanding of and comfort with performance metrics – both in terms of reporting and analysis
  • Experience overseeing a creative process with either a separate creative team or agency
  • The ability to maintain strategic oversight while getting stuck in with the kind of hands-on photography, copywriting and curation that comes as standard in social media
  • A collaborative, optimistic attitude
  • A strong ability to prioritise and manage your time
  • Exceptional gif and emoji game

What’s it like to work at MOO? MOO’s a workplace where you can be yourself. Wear that questionable jumper. Dye your hair purple. Take your laptop to the sofa. Whatever helps you feel comfortable and happy at work. We want to do whatever we can to help you grow in your career (and make your home life fulfilling too). That’s why we offer flexible hours, and generous a holiday allowance. We’ll treat you to breakfast and fresh fruit every day, lunch on Fridays and all the ice cream you can eat (just watch for the brain freeze). Diversity Statement

We work hard to create a representative, inclusive and super-friendly team, because we know that different experiences, perspectives and backgrounds make for a better workplace. And that creates a better experience for our customers. MOO doesn’t discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion or belief, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital status, disability or any other protected class.
