Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager at our facility in Boston, MA to work on the Chewy Autoship team to build a world-class subscription-based shopping experience for pet parents, allowing them to seamlessly set up and manage repeat deliveries for their re-occurring pet needs.

What You’ll Do: 

  • In this high-impact role, you will own and drive key initiatives to improve Autoship acquisition, engagement, subscription management, and order experience.
  • Reimagine the Autoship customer experience, adding new features and functionality that bring additional simplicity and convenience to various aspects of the Autoship customer experience and shopping journey.
  • Gain exposure across Chewy’s entire business, including across different organizational functions (e.g., marketing, merchandising, new business verticals, supply chain, and healthcare).
  • Use a customer-first mindset to guide the development and delivery of a best-in-class experience for Chewy’s highly engaged Autoship customers.
  • Define and analyze measures of success (KPIs) to identify opportunities and uncover insights; transform these insights into clear requirements for product enhancements, new features, and strategy.
  • Own, develop, and communicate the strategic long-term vision and goals for key projects and initiatives across different aspects of the customer experience; manage the corresponding product roadmap and backlog to ensure that the product vision aligns with both customer feedback and business goals.
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, and learnings to key stakeholders and senior leaders across Chewy; identify opportunities for cross-org partnership and innovation.
  • Actively monitor product performance; measure the impact of new feature launches through robust testing and reporting; communicate impact across the organization and use them to drive prioritization and further investment.
  • Collaborate with analytics, datascience, finance, marketing, UXR/UXD, and engineering resources to identify features that drive maximum customer and business value.
  • Serve as a cross-organizational product and business leader; identify opportunities and risks, and drive accountability for goals and key performance indicators across verticals and business units.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience.
  • Experience must include 1 year with the following: eCommerce or product management;
  • Owning, developing, and communicating the long-term vision, strategy, and goals for a portfolio of customer-facing products;
  • Developing customer-facing products and/or features, from conception to delivery, that results in significant business impact;
  • Querying, analyzing, and translating data into business and product insights that drive sound strategic recommendations and direction;
  • Influencing and driving decisions at the executive level;
  • Partnering closely with engineering teams at all stages of the software development lifecycle;
  • The pet industry, retail e-commerce, and related market-segment trends;
  • Customer funnel and lifecycle management;
  • Writing business requirement documents and acceptance criteria that are specific and technical in nature to inform engineering design decisions; writing product strategy documents, explaining key customer and business problems to solve and writing the corresponding plan to implement solutions;
  • Performing data analysis on customer behavior, business trends, and both technical system and product feature performance to inform strategy;
  • Driving cross‐functional and cross‐organizational prioritization and product design decisions to support product feature delivery and execution;
  • Creating basic visual designs to inform product design decisions technical design decisions; and
  • Soliciting customer feedback from current and future product features, through surveys, CS calls, and other channels, and then synthesizing information to assess customer sentiment and to identify opportunities for future feature improvements.
