Overview:

SimpliSafe is looking for a Senior Marketing Strategy Consultant who can transform raw data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. In this role you will be instrumental in developing our data architecture and analytics function from the ground up. In this highly visible role you will interact with cross functional groups and executive leadership.

Our ideal candidate needs to be able to do the following:

• Conduct deep dive analysis on spend, portfolio mix, and actual and potential performance to drive marketing strategy
• Stay abreast of market and industry developments and incorporate applicable trends into forecasting models
• Create custom, targeted reports and dashboards that deliver insights into the current health of the business and opportunities for future growth
• Organize and mine large datasets to find optimization opportunities in our e-commerce funnel and overall customer experience
• Provide mentorship and guidance to small team of budding analysts
• Inspire and elevate those around you with your humility and deep curiosity
• Partner with internal data resources to ensure data integrity and availability to support analytical requirements
• Conduct special research projects as needed

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. MS preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience across Marketing, Finance or Strategy
• Thorough understanding of marketing metrics and analytics, proactive in analyzing performance and suggesting improvements
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate statistical output in a manner that is engaging, understandable, and influential
• Experience with quantitative research methodologies (survey design, discrete choice, sampling, analysis)
• Strong foundation in advanced analytics, including experience with statistics and graphing software
• Strong technical skills, including experience with query and data visualization tools. SQL and Tableau experience strongly desired. Microsoft Excel expert
