Job Description:

We are actively hiring a full-time Java and JavaScript developer who wants to create something meaningful that will greatly impact people’s lives. PatientPing supports a number of customer facing web-based applications that facilitate care-coordination. This full-stack developer will work on all tiers of our application and have the opportunity to explore new technologies and approaches as we continue to expand our services. The ideal candidate loves to tackle tough problems, is constantly searching for elegant solutions, and strives for excellence.

What You Will Do:

·       Work closely with the VP Engineering to ensure the highest standards of design, implementation, performance, and security are met

·       Work closely with the Product team to ensure all customer needs are met

·       Design and build new features

·       Maintain and extend existing features

·       Anticipate and start planning the next generation of software products

What You Need:

·       5+ years of Java development     

·       The right combination of experience in many of these technologies and a desire to master them all (most desirable listed first):

o   Modern Java frameworks (Spring Boot preferred)

o   Relational database design and query via both SQL and ORM

o   Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred)

o   ElasticSearch or other document-oriented database

o   Microservice architecture, including REST API design

o   Asynchronous data pipelines using Kafka or similar modern messaging framework

o   AWS or other public cloud environment
