About the Senior Drupal Engineer (Contractor)

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Drupal Developer to spearhead the development of a new website from scratch, working alongside a dynamic team of skilled developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Drupal architecture, PHP programming, and web development best practices
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science or related fields
• 2 – 4 Years of Web Application development experience
• Proven experience in web application development, particularly with PHP and Drupal.
• Strong understanding of Drupal theming and module development.
• Expertise in code quality best practices, with a focus on maintainability and performance.
• Experience with Drupal 9 or 10 is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to design and implement robust web applications from the ground up using Drupal.
• Develop custom Drupal themes and modules
• Maintain high standards of code quality and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
• Customize and theme Drupal environments to meet specific design and functional requirements.
• Optimize application performance to enhance user experience and manage system scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest versions of Drupal, implementing new features and functionalities as required.
