As a Senior Accountant you will be be a key contributor in the Finance team and will interact with various stakeholders inside and outside of Circle.
What you'll work on
- Ensure general ledgers properly reflect all financial transactions and financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable GAAP for varying entities
- Assist in month-end and annual close processes
- Assist with banking relationships in regards to user access, onboarding and offboarding
- Assist with annual audits and tax engagements for varying entities; tasks include preparing financial statements, reconciliations and VAT filing
- Support compensation process, including reviewing, processing payroll and maintaining stock compensation files
- Support treasury team in daily cash requirements for adequate treasury reserves
- Assist in the improvement of the financial and accounting processes to increase productivity, ensure GAAP compliance and create efficiencies
- Foster finance as a support function for overall Circle
What you’ll bring to Circle
- CPA with 4+ years of public (Big 4 preferred) and private accounting experience
- Experience in fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. You roll up your sleeves and still enjoy the work
- Experience with complex accounting issues such as accounting for multi-entities company, consolidation, foreign currency, capitalization and etc..
- Collaborative team player, while also capable of doing self-directed/self-initiated work
- Experience in the financial services or payment processing industries is a plus
