Salesforce and Systems Architect
Turbonomic is looking for a Salesforce and Systems Architect to join our Strategy & Operations team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual looking for a fast-paced, dynamic and high energy environment. The Salesforce and Systems Architect will be responsible for developing a CRM strategy and systems roadmap by working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Sales Operations. This position will require a deep knowledge of business processes, acumen and the ability to translate business needs and objectives to systems architecture.
The position will report to the Director of Strategy & Operations and will manage a small team of salesforce administrators. In a management capacity, we will be looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills and experience in managerial roles.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal teams to build out Salesforce capabilities that align and help track specific business processes and KPIs
- Be a technical resource to our various business partners, and work with them to review operational processes and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancement or automation
- Write, review, and optimize scalable Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages and components using best practices
- Evaluate third party vendors for technical capabilities and fit with our highly customized SFDC instance
- Perform routine cleanliness and data integrity checks on the system and identify/fix/streamline processes
- Manage and mentor a small team of Salesforce administrators with moderate programming abilities
- Participate and lead internal training sessions for new hires and internal/external feature releases
Skills and Attributes
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com platform out-of-the-box functionality and configuration, especially in Sales cloud
- Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API
- Adept at abstracting high-level business needs into Salesforce.com requirements and breaking down detailed technical concepts at a high level
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills
- Critical thinker with a hunger to solve complex business challenges
- Demonstrated ability to lead, work independently and as a team
- Excellent ability to handle and prioritize multiple simultaneous requests and manage laterally, upwards and downwards depending on the project

Experience
- 5+ years working with Salesforce.com as an architect or administrator
- Experienced working with Sales Enablement teams and Sales Leaders to operationalize sales motions in SFDC in a sales consumable way
- Experienced leading companywide Salesforce.com clean-up projects
- Experienced using and implementing a multitude of SFDC app exchange products that help to promote sales adoption and consumability
- 2-4 years working with web based programming (Apex, Visualforce, SOAP/REST based web services, JavaScript, XML, SOQL/SQL)
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or related field
