Quant Customer Success Engineer
As a Customer Success Engineer, you will need to have an understanding of the problems facing financial investment analysts today. You are intelligent, personable, and can adapt easily to a fast paced, small team working environment - and you like to have fun. You have the project management experience necessary to quickly get a client up to speed on a new product, drive client adoption and navigate client workflows. You are comfortable with financial technology, and are able to be the liaison between the client and the Elsen engineering team. You can converse in the language of finance and understand the the basics of financial models. You understand the value of product usage data and client communications to drive continuous improvements in client engagements and within the product. You understand what it takes to file a useful bug report and aren’t scared to occasionally review code to find the answers you’re looking for.
Responsibilities:
Develop subject-matter expertise in the Elsen nPlatform and core applications including the ability to demo the platform
Provide real-time support to analysts, researchers, and quants at the world's largest and most prominent investment firms, banks and hedge funds by assisting them in financial investment model development and debugging using Elsen nPlatform
Analyze product and client usage, define key usage metric dashboards and drive positive results against the defined metrics.
Define and prioritize product and integration requirements based upon client engagements
Develop the Customer Success knowledge base and other tools to make our clients more successful
Work with clients to enhance their knowledge of the Elsen nPlaform applications
Meet or exceed monthly product usage and customer retention goals
Qualifications:
BA/BS or MBA in Engineering/CS, Sciences, Mathematics, or Business
Experience in quantitative analytics / equity research / equity or credit risk or financial modeling
Experience with equity markets, financial data and have a good understanding of financial markets
Knowledge of, and experience with, financial investment analytical tools and databases, e.g., FactSet, Bloomberg etc
Proven success in cultivating and maintaining a sustained relationship with technical clients
Experience with SaaS software business models
Ability to collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical personnel
Entrepreneurial spirit, strong sense of urgency, and excellent problem solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills; a willingness to learn
Self-motivated and comfortable with product technical aspects
Ability to travel up to 15% of time
