We are seeking a hands-on individual who will drive Quality Assurance and testing. As part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and leading the testing of the Copenhagen Wheel to ensure safety and quality from design through production.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee testing of the mechanical and electrical hardware, embedded software, and interaction with the mobile apps.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate a company-wide Quality Management Plan.
• Organize and direct cross-functional efforts to identify, find the root cause of, and address failures.
• Work closely with the engineering teams to develop and expand regression and release testing.
• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Coordinate release and deployment of updates to manufacturing and fielded products.
• Coordinate and implement regulatory and certification efforts.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in driving Quality in both hardware and embedded software.
• BS in Engineering, with technical depth in at least one relevant domain.
• Solid understanding of version control, release processes, and deployment management.
• Ability to collect and organize data and information from disparate sources to provide clear, concise summaries and conclusions.
• Experience managing bug/defect tracking systems.
• Consumer product experience is a plus.
