The role

At Delphix, quality comes first, and our QA team is the guardian of that quality. We are looking for a Data Management QA Engineer to join our team; as a member of the QA team, you will work closely with project teams to define and execute test plans early in the development process.

Responsibilities

• Understand and extend python based test frameworks
• Design and automate test plans and test cases
• Diagnose and solve test failures
• Work closely with Development, Product Management and Support

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise software testing
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Industry experience building software using Object Oriented programming

Bonus if you have:

• System Administration
• Experience testing SDK’s
• Previous experience writing automation frameworks in Python
• Understanding of database technologies
• Understanding of file systems and operating systems
• Industry experience developing test automation for SDKs used by partners and customers
