EdX is looking for an organized, ambitious individual who is ready to contribute immediately to edX’s white-label service team. This team is responsible for managing and growing the online educational offerings on edX’s best in breed white-label sites for partners.

Project Coordinators are responsible for many operational, project management and administrative tasks related to the launch and management of courses on edX’s white label sites, as well as new partnerships. Project Coordinators work closely with internal white label team members including Partner Managers, Product Management, Software Engineering, and Marketing, as well as directly with edX partners to provide premium client service and a superior learning experience for edX learners.

Responsibilities:

There are 4 core responsibilities related to the role:

  • Partner and Course Announcements: Work with Partner Managers, global Partner institutions, edX Marketing and other internal and external stakeholders to get partner institutions and their courses successfully announced on edx.org. Successful course announcements require an ability to collaborate with others, closely track and maintain deadlines, and an extreme attention to detail.
  • Course Management: Manage the database of course details to up-to-the-minute accuracy to support Partner Managers who serve a portfolio of schools and institutions; analyze courses for compliance with our course quality guidelines before the course begins, providing feedback to meet minimum requirements and best practices; process certificates of completion for students, and share resulting completion data, along with any trends and recommendations with stakeholders.
  • Partner Information Management:  Gather, track, update, audit and organize our partner contact data in our customer relationship management system (SalesForce); Providing reporting and analysis that inform and empower our partners to make strategic decisions about our work together.
  • Process Improvement: Think creatively and systematically to help improve operational processes. Recommend, drive and implement process improvements that support scalability and learner and partner growth. Examples: log, prioritize and manage product requests or requirements for Product and Engineering teams based on themes from our schools and institutions; maintain the white-label team knowledge base; update internal and external-facing materials that help scale the team; flag and escalate processes that diminish employee efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent working experience in business or professional customer service environment 
  • 1-2 years experience in a professional services-based team, including client-facing experience
  • Business-to-business experience highly preferred
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with an ability to work closely with others, even when you do not have subject-matter knowledge.
  • Proven problem-solving skills including technical, process, data and organizational related
  • Highly organized; thorough attention to detail
  • Is motivated by deadlines and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • An ability to balance many tasks, and stakeholders effectively
  • Great interpersonal skills: teaming and collaboration is critical to this role
  • Experience with enterprise software such as Google Docs or Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ease with email communication, telephone and in-person contacts
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work with global and remote teams

Preferred:

  • Experience with Salesforce, Atlassian JIRA or similar software a plus
  • Fluent Spanish or Mandarin language skills a plus
  • Experience working in a web content management system like Wordpress, Drupal, SquareSpace etc.
