Product Marketing Manager

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be at the heart of Localytics’ efforts to transform the mobile marketing industry. You will be responsible for promoting our industry-leading mobile engagement platform, coordinating the launch of new products, training customers and internal audiences on how to get the most out of our products, and much more. This role requires you to work closely with members of the Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Support Teams, so the ability to successfully lead a cross-functional team is a must.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute the go-to-market strategy for new Localytics products in close partnership with the Product Team
- Quickly develop a deep knowledge of new Localytics products. Use this expertise to create compelling messaging that clearly explains the product’s value prop to a variety of internal and external audiences
- Work with designers to transform your messaging into visually compelling marketing materials
- Support sales efforts with custom materials created for specific deals
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to evolve the Localytics brand and value prop so that they continue to reflect the benefits of our platform as new products are released
- Host internal training sessions for Sales and Support, along with customer-facing webinars on a variety of topics
- Propose and execute improvements in the way that Localytics markets its products
Requirements
- Passion for the mobile space and the power of mobile marketing
- Background in digital marketing and/or mobile marketing
- Extremely strong writing skills with a proven ability to clearly convey complex topics verbally and visually
- Demonstrated record of using data to make strategic marketing decisions that deliver results
- Ability to think creatively and advocate for unorthodox solutions to conventional challenges
- Must be collaborative and a team player
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, along with aggressive attention to detail
- Familiarity working closely with sales and product teams
- Know or have a willingness to learn Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Marketo, and SQL
- Embraces and is excited by the workload, pace and ambiguity that comes with working in a startup environment
- BA/BS required
- MBA preferred, but not required
