We are looking for a creative Product Marketing professional to join our growing Product & Marketing team at DataXu. You will be part of the team driving go-to-market success initiatives in order to enable the organization to scale. In this role, you will work with senior leadership teams from Marketing, Sales, and Product to conceive, frame and articulate compelling value propositions for solutions based on DataXu’s product and service capabilities. This role requires the ability to think strategically and translate market and industry trends, into practical solution positioning, collateral, and effective marketing execution.

The perfect fit will be someone who is a team player, excellent communicator, organized self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and is comfortable managing multiple projects at one time.

On the Job

  • Be the expert on marketers’ and advertisers’ challenges, how they find, engage and acquire customers; be the expert on how our customers buy advertising and advertising technology; be the expert on our competition and how to crush them.
  • Manage, mentor, and partner with direct reports. Together this team will build a core competency in developing and articulating solutions that can drive growth in our core business.
  • Work with our field teams, including sales, account management, and solution architects to represent the voice and needs of the customer.
  • Identify growth opportunities from across a portfolio of programmatic marketing products, services and partner offerings and build solutions that align with marketer’s challenges.
  • Work side-by-side with our product team to impact product direction, possible new features, functions and technology to be included within the solutions
  • Plan and drive the launch of new products in partnership with product team; manage cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Arm and empower DataXu’s sales team through training and communication on the value proposition, competitive position, and winning approach of our offerings
  • Interact with customers, press, and analysts to promote DataXu’s products and solutions; own and articulate the value of offerings to the market.
  • Create content that articulates DataXu’s vision and capabilities to key prospects and customers.
  • Conduct market and competitive assessments and use insights to inform sales materials, campaigns, go-to-market and launch strategy.
  • Create presentations, customer case studies, product demos, collateral and sales tools.

About You

  • Deep experience in digital advertising and media, with experience in the advertising technology space preferred
  • 5+ years in core product marketing experience or a history of customer engagement, documenting solutions and translating to customer benefits.
  • Outstanding presentation, writing and communication skills with a keen ability to translate complex technical capabilities into creative, intuitive content and programs
  • The ability to articulate a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team and focuses their energy on achieving business goals
  • Strong background creating content for product/solution marketing programs
  • Experience in technology driven organizations and working with technologists. 
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex problems and communicate ideas clearly and succinctly.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels within the organization and to work within a fast-paced, autonomous environment
  • A proven self-starter with excellent organizational skills, with a track record of delivering exceptional work product under time constraints
  • The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
