Product Manager

We are looking for a self-motivated, highly-driven Product Manager to work with a talented team of product managers, designers and engineers to execute on our product vision and level-up our digital products. This role will own the roadmap for one or more development teams building our express shipping products. You will be responsible for bringing newly-launched shipping services to maturity, driving adoption and retention by prioritizing features that address client pain points and win new customers. In this role, which will report to the Group Product Manager, you will be the voice of our customers, collaborating closely with our engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure that our products solve the right problems and convert our customers into raving fans of our shipping technology. 

The ideal candidate will have experience shipping customer-facing features in a fast-paced product management function, a strong desire to learn, and a great sense of teamwork.

You Will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers, their workflows, and pain points to identify opportunities to better meet our clients’ needs and drive increased adoption & self-service
  • Influence the development and execution of the roadmap for one or more scrum teams, translating broad strategy into tangible objectives and prioritized initiatives
  • Triage feature requests and bugs from internal and external stakeholders and prioritize them against roadmap items
  • Document user requirements by performing and leveraging user research as well as consultation with internal stakeholders and product analytics
  • Collaborate with design, product owners and engineering managers to bring new functionality into the platform and assess the impact
  • Author product content for our sales and operations teams
  • Continuously make operational improvements (improved metrics, process automation) 
  • Potentially travel up to 10% for company offsites

You Are:

  • Empathetic to customer needs and pain points
  • Experienced in a startup or fast-paced environment executing across multiple workstreams
  • Detail-oriented and thorough with ability to deliver features and validate their impact
  • Passionate about delivering customer value through functional and engaging user experiences
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to liaise between product development and business teams
  • Strong in quantitative reasoning and able to deep dive into data and interviews to assess user behavior and identify areas to drive adoption, retention and growth
  • Familiar with the software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and product requirement documentation
  • Capable of ruthless self-prioritization and able to focus on highest-value tasks
  • (Ideally) experienced in working with remote & international development teams
