Job Summary:

As a Principal Front-End Engineer, you'll drive the architectural direction of our applications and lead a team of talented engineers as they use new web standards and frameworks such as React/Redux, Node.js/Express, ES6, and Angular.js. Your vision will help us build on our current codebase and create the next generation of scalable, testable and performant Node.js applications, providing our users with a world-class experience. Above all, you'll bring a commitment to quality and enthusiasm for front-end technology.

The Invaluable Engineering team meets the unique challenges facing an industry that's rapidly evolving to embrace a digital model. Our applications have to be fast, scalable, and maintainable even as they solve technical challenges unique to expanding online participation in live events.

What We’re Looking for:

• 7+ years of experience
• You know JavaScript upside-down and inside-out; you have multiple framework arrows in your quiver and you know when to use which ones and why
• You understand the balance between ongoing feature development and building an architectural foundation for the future
• You believe that it isn't code-complete without tests being written
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and communicate your ideas clearly
• You have a strong understanding of RESTful API development
• You have a passion for quickly learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with the latest technology and best practices
• You have experience with and enjoy mentoring other engineers
