We are looking for a prolific and talented multimedia content creator to grow HubSpot’s audience. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

HubSpot’s Content Team manages a variety of platforms, including our Blog, which sees more than 4.5 million visitors per month. We also publish the #1 Business publication on Medium, ReadThink, and produce The Growth Show, a weekly podcast that sees more than 70,000 downloads per month and is frequently listed in the top 50 Business Podcasts on iTunes. More than 2 million social media fans engage with our content every month.

We’re looking to add someone who has a passion for storytelling and is interested in growing an audience through smart, insightful, and helpful content. We need an editorial-minded individual who understand the demands of marketing and sales professionals and can craft narratives that interest our growing audience.

Responsibilities:


  • Grow HubSpot’s audience across our platforms -- Blog, Medium, Podcast, Social Media, etc.


  • Project manage multimedia, multi-platform content campaigns that include written, visual, video, and audio content.


  • Come up with creative ideas for editorial campaigns and identify the right platform and the right format in which to spread the message.


  • Collaborate with designers, video professionals, researchers, bloggers, audio producers, product marketers, sales, and external influencers to produce relevant content that meets the needs of key stakeholders and our audience.


  • Analyze campaign success and share insights and best practices for future projects.


  • Get buy-in for your creative ideas by communicating value.

Requirements:


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience. Journalism, multimedia, design, or equivalent degree preferred.


  • Strong writing skills and the ability to create a cohesive narrative is required. Complementary skillset in another category, such as video, graphic design, analytics, or HTML/CSS, is preferred.


  • Past experience producing content (written, visual, or other) for various channels (Blog, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Medium, Email, etc.).


  • A strong analytical background that prioritizes uncovering insights over vanity metrics.


  • Ability to take a raw idea and determine the right direction based on data.
