Using the DataRobot platform, financial institutions are building more models than ever, which means that they’re having to validate and justify more models that ever. The Model Validation Product Head will work with engineering and data science teams to develop product features to increase the usefulness of DataRobot as a model validation tool — whether validating models built by DataRobot or validating models built outside of DataRobot. You will need to have deep experience with model documentation and the regulatory and compliance issues facing model developers in the banking industry. You will also need deep experience with data science and modern machine learning techniques.

Main Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as a model validator or developer for US banking institutions
• Hands-on experience building and defending predictive models — particularly those using modern machine learning methods
• Excellent organizational, communication, writing and interpersonal skills
• Regulatory compliance experience with SR 11-7, SR 15-18, and SR 15-19

Desired Skills
• Fluency with scripting (Python/R)
• Prior experience with a variety of machine learning platforms
