We are looking for an energetic marketing professional with an interest in events, strong attention to detail, a “can-do” attitude and a willingness to learn to join our expanding corporate marketing team. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker and a true team player. He or she won’t mind rolling up their sleeves and diving into a wide variety of marketing projects, but will also possess strong project management skills, should be comfortable working with sales and corporate marketing folks, and must have a deep understanding of topics that interest our B2B customers here at the Xu.

About You…

  • Excellent project management skills
  • At least 6 years of experience with technology or marketing companies.
  • A friendly, enthusiastic team player who likes to collaborate.
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and take initiative.
  • Healthy respect for deadlines
  • Knowledge of digital advertising, including search, display, addressable TV and video.
  • An understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, its segmentation, and major players is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with email marketing programs preferred.
  • Event planning/logistics planning experience preferred; key is an ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, external vendors, internal colleagues to ensure all moving parts remain in sync.
  • Comfort speaking on phone or corresponding via email with sales, team members, hotels, vendors.
  • Ability to plan and work on longer timeline projects in tandem with short turnaround requests.
  • Comfortable with SaaS solutions/technology terminology.

Day to Day at the ‘Xu

  • Co-own annual DataXu Customer Summit and ensure success of Self-Serve Customer track, Managed Service and Main Stage through collaboration with Corporate Marketing, Sales Enablement and executives.
  • Co-create solution-focused live webinars for customers and prospects on “key themes” such as native advertising, PTV, cross-device; create decks and work with presenters to refine and execute.
  • Engage numerous DataXu departments including Sales, Design, Sales Enablement and Finance to ensure smooth communications around activities and flawless execution of events.
  • Ensure programs and marketing activities remain strategically aligned to company goals for 2017.
  • Capture and report metrics post-event to summarize successes and key learnings; track new business contacts from events with help from Marketing Analyst and measure ROI of events.
  • Ensure org remains connected to customer needs through management of SS Annual NPS Survey.
  • Work with Marketing Communications Manager and ADG team to concept, create and deploy strategic demand-gen email programs targeting specific segments, such as brand customers or agencies.
  • Assist Director of Corporate Marketing in managing budgets, handle procument and vendor arrangements for events and event logistics.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for questions from Sales Team (via email) for assigned events
  • Ensure events are advertised; i.e. added to DataXu.com, detailed on the Sales Portal, and are included in SS Emails and All-Hands decks; accuracy and attendees are maintained, details of sponsorships, etc.
  • Partner with Director of Corp. Marketing to identify and work with vendors on elements including custom signage, branding, production coordination and any other necessary elements.
