As a Marketing Associate, you’ll actively shape three rapidly growing programs on InsightSquared’s Marketing Team. Working from our headquarters in Boston, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and executing the day-to-day activities of InsightSquared’s direct mail and events machines, ensuring prospects are wowed by the company and customers are constantly reminded of how valued they are. On the campaigns front, you’ll develop, optimize, and report on account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives, contributing to the team’s pipeline and retention goals. We’re looking for a versatile, curious, let’s-get-it-done marketer to help make these and other special programs rock!

Campaigns:

Taking guidance from our head of account-based marketing, you’ll soon be implementing entire marketing campaigns from beginning to end. You’ll work with your fellow marketing colleagues, sales operations, and sales leadership to concept. From there, it’s all you. You’ll be involved in everything from strategy, content, execution, and reporting. You’ll make sure things go out on time and on budget, as well as making sure everyone is in the know. You’ll do what it takes to make campaigns a success, testing different personas, messaging, and tactics. We’re talking email, ads, direct mail, and website personalization to name a few. You’ll be juggling multiple campaigns at any given time: strategizing some, executing others, and reporting on those in flight. Other tasks include: vendor management, Salesforce reporting, and constant collaboration with sales enablement.

Events:

Do you pride yourself on throwing a great party? If the answer is yes, you’re in luck because part of this role will include working with our events team to execute intimate customer dinners, high profile conferences, and everything in between. We’re looking for someone to jump in and help ensure our events run smoothly, seem effortless to attendees, and make a lasting (and meaningful) impression. Other tasks include: managing giveaways and gifts, sending reminder and follow-up emails to attendees, and tracking RSVPs.

Direct Mail:

You’ll be an all-around champion for our direct mail program, collaborating with fellow marketers and client-facing teams to surprise and delight customers, prospects, and InsightSquared fans. This includes working with external vendors, tracking all recipients, and making recommendations for future projects. Other tasks include: sending thank you cards and managing the direct mail budget.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with demonstrated marketing DNA
  • 1-3 years experience with at least 1+ year in a marketing role
  • Strong writing and grammar skills
  • Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail
  • Professional, polished, and collaborative (a sense of humor helps too)
  • Pluses: Salesforce know-how, InDesign / Photoshop, Marketo, Excel wizardry
