Role Description:

The Cogito Marketing Team is responsible for earning the business of new customers and helping to convert existing customers into raving promoters for our brand. We ensure our Sales Team is equipped with the messages and materials that will help them beat the competition and build customer trust.

The Marketing Associate will be involved in all aspects of marketing activities including content creation, market research, business generation, events, campaign execution and marketing operations. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with a passion for marketing that enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and presentation of sales content such as presentations, case studies, videos, email templates and demonstrations.
  • Research and report on market and competitive trends.
  • Create digital and social content including blogs, Tweets, LinkedIn posts, white papers, e-books and infographics.
  • Be a key contributor in multichannel campaign design and execution.
  • Participate in event planning and execution.
  • Maintain marketing dashboards.
  • Perform business generation activities including qualifying to inbound leads, generating outbound emails and phone calls.
  • Work with the Product Team to identify and test new features.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success Team to capture customer stories.

  • A self starter, willing to invest time and effort to learn new skills and techniques.

  • Energized by working collaboratively to evolve and optimize marketing programs.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, customer service, sales, or other related field.
  • BA/BS Degree, Marketing preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools preferred.
  • Experience working with applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop and video editing tools.
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships and comfortably interact with executive-level management.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
