As a software engineer at Kuvée, you will join a team focusing on developing an interactive touch-screen application, maintaining an embedded Linux distro, building a centralized IoT server that integrates with an online e-commerce system and an analytics engine. This role is focused on C++ development for our IoT device, including GUI development using Qt/QML and integration with hardware sensors, web services and data collection.

Required:

• Demonstrate proficiency with C++
  
• Comfortable with the Linux shell
  
• Experience writing production quality code
  
• Authorization to work in the US
  

Desirable: 

• 3+ years of software engineering experience 
  
• GUI development, especially using Qt/QML with C++
  
• Knowledge of relational databases, familiarity with SQL 
  
• JavaScript and web UI 
  
• Software development for embedded systems 
  
• Industrial automation and IoT 
  
• Experience with git or other DVCS
