IT Manager
Job Description
Klaviyo is looking for an ambitious and tech-savvy IT Manager to be our first IT hire and to scale our office computer infrastructure, audio/visual tech, network connectivity and organizational SaaS app footprint. You’ll have the autonomy and resources you need to research and implement best practices and technology as Klaviyo scales from 75 employees to many hundreds in the next several years.
The IT Manager will report directly to the VP of Engineering and will work closely with other team leads.
What you will do
Be the first in-house IT support person to ensure all Klaviyo employees have access to working tech when they need it.
Manage 75+ corporate owned Apple MacBooks including inventory management, procurement, device lifecycle management, device troubleshooting, etc. Streamline internal and external communication using services like Google Hangouts/Meet, Slack, Zoom, RobinPowered, and more.
Oversight of corporate network administration (including WiFi, firewalls, VPNs, etc)Direct software as a service procurement and administration.
Steer identity and access management.
Experience with Google Apps and SAML are a must.
AWS knowledge and a solid understanding of OAuth are bonuses.
Support security and security compliance efforts.
Create and maintain a solid internal customer service function.
Who you must be
You have a college degree in a relevant technical field (computer science, networking, information systems) or related real world work experience.
You have managed large Apple deployments. You are experienced with Google Apps GSuite+ or similar cloud office management tools.
You are collaborative and team oriented.
You love getting technical. You’re not afraid to prototype solutions and shake down vendors. You love to automate your work using the scripting language or configuration management tools of your choice.
You want to work in a fast, high growth startup environment.
Bonus points
You have experience in the trenches with MacBook fleet management, ISP fiber cuts, 802.1x troubleshooting, and more. You have brought a corporate IT environment in line with one or more compliance standards/regimes
