We are looking for a junior to mid level IT Manager with Apple support experience. This person will spend the bulk of their time handling internal help desk support issues and managing vendors.
What You'll Do:- Implements, installs, configures, monitors, troubleshoots, and evaluates existing servers, printers, laptops, VoIP phones, network appliances
- Regularly works with CloudOps and Security team and management on current and prospective system changes and future needs.
- Regularly performs system administration tasks such as patching, system configuration changes, account management, and software deployments
- Works with vendor supporting network infrastructure appliances to ensure stable performance and availability
- Directs efforts of 3rd party technicians involved in diagnosing and correcting system related failures and performing system management activities
- Assists in determining logical solutions to complex system administration and application problem
- 3-5 years in a Help Desk support role
- 1-3 years experience support apple products and chrome computers.
- 2-4 years supporting network switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts, DNS, system/network security, firewalls and server administration.
- Understanding of endpoint security best practices
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup, agile environment
- Experience required in writing system documentation, system specifications/requirements, correspondence, studies, reports and training materials.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Demonstrated ability to properly develop and maintain accurate documentation
- Ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff
- Must possess a degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience with administering system
- Oriented to build automated solutions wherever possible.
- Experience working with Meraki switches and firewalls
- Experience working with IaaS providers, such as AWS.Experience with third party SSO providers such as OKTA, or OneLogin
