iOS Software Engineer

Location: Cambridge, MA

Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

iZotope is seeking a highly-motivated iOS Software Engineer for a position on our product development team. You'll join a fast-paced, collaborative team working on a next-generation product that enables musicians to be creative. Responsibilities:

• Design and build high-quality applications for the iOS platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features
• Ensure robust quality, performance, and usability

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of proven work experience developing and shipping applications for iOS
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
• Experience with multi-threaded systems and performance tuning
• Knowledgeable with test driven development, unit testing, or similar testing methodologies
• Working knowledge of architectures, trends, and emerging technologies in mobile
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience with source control such as Git

Preferred Qualifications:

• Reactive programming experience with libraries like RxSwift or ReactiveSwift
• Asynchronous programming experience with libraries like PromiseKit
• Experience developing for connected/smart devices and network programming
• Experience with distributed messaging systems, such as ZeroMQ
• Working knowledge of C++
• Additional experience in web and cloud technologies
• Additional experience with Android development
• Previous work in an agile environment
• A passion for music and recording
