We are seeking an experienced iOS developer to join a fast-moving and accountable product team to implement new products.

VentureApp is the online community for professionals who want access to their local innovation economy. Users can discover and learn about professional networks and influential people in their local community, strengthen their network by following and participating in meaningful conversations with industry leaders, and stay informed about news and events by following public chats between influencers and experts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Qualifications

• B.S. Computer Science, Engineering or related experience
• Proven working experience in software development
• Working experience in iOS development
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
• Experience with third-party libraries and REST APIs
• Experience working with Swift 3 and APNS (Apple Push Notification Service)
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
