The Infrastructure Engineer will have oversight of the automation, configuration, and deployment of the data pipeline, and ensure that Wellframe’s engineers and data scientists are empowered and effective by providing them with tools, test automation, and design expertise. We are looking for engineers to help us build the next generation of our pipelines and tools. Responsibilities Include:

• Develop software, tools and data pipeline that improves the infrastructure
• Make & drive technical decisions to completion.
• Mentor others on the team and outside the team where appropriate.

Ideal candidates should have:

• Expertise in Scala (or Java) and Python
• Experience with Apache Spark
• Experience designing and deploying production RESTful services in the cloud
• General understanding of the data science technology landscape
• Strong communication skills
• Self-­awareness and a desire to continually improve
• Desire to write and maintain clean code, avoiding tech debt
