EnerNOC is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is eager to develop a career in HR, is an exceptionally detail-oriented multi-tasker with a strong customer service orientation, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The HR Coordinator will provide support to the Human Resources Business Partner and Talent Acquisition teams as well as serve as a resource to all our HR team members. The primary responsibilities of the role will focus on employee on boarding and off boarding, recruiter support, and maintaining employee records.
Responsibilities:
- Support Talent Acquisition team through recruiting life-cycle including scheduling candidate interviews, creating offer letters, conducting background checks, and notifying internal resources to prepare for new hire
- Manage the employee onboarding process including new hire orientation, I-9 verification, entering new hire information in our HRIS system, and creating electronic personnel file
- Maintain employee records including transfers, promotions, and other employee changes in HRIS system
- Implement and oversee the administration of business processes associated with the HRIS System
- Identify process improvements in business processes impacting HR data management and implement as needed
- Manage the employee off boarding process by updating the employee record, providing exit materials, and conducting the exit interview
- Respond to general manager and employee questions regarding HR policies and practices, systems and benefits
- Responsible for additional HR support including employment verifications, invoices, and HRIS/payroll audits
- Support the HR team in reporting, projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of administrative support experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources preferred
- Previous experience with Workday or another HRIS system preferred
