Head of Technical Talent Acquisition

At ezCater, people are the engine that drives the business. The Head of Technical Talent Acquisition will contribute to our mission by hiring the best technical talent that Boston has to offer. You’ll manage the success of a Talent Acquisition Specialist while taking ownership of several Tech-focused roles. You’ll be creative and innovative, utilizing data to guide you, as your team — and the company — grow.
You will:
- Own Engineering, Design and Product recruiting. Improve existing processes, increase efficiency, and foster our culture as we scale.
- Manage our technical recruiting team with particular focus on developing team members, hitting hiring goals, and using data to inform your decisions.
- Work closely with the Director of Talent to build our talent brand by thinking like a marketer.
- Be the culture ambassador and tireless advocate for our engineering team. Coordinate and attend events, build relationships, and engage with the tech community via blogs, meet-ups, open houses, and more.
- Own the talent pipeline and candidate experience from outreach to interview to closing for a number of high-level or specialized requisitions within the Product Org, including Design.
You have:
- Seen it all. You’re a senior boutique technical recruiter or an in-house technical recruiting leader at a fast-growing company, and you are looking for your next challenge. Ideally, you have experience in both agency and in-house environments and a total of 5+ years in Talent Acquisition.
- A network in the Boston Tech Scene. You know where the talent is and how to engage it.
- More than just recruiting skills. You think outside the box. You utilize all the tools and channels available to drive inbound candidates and attract passive Talent.
- A passion for developing process that wows active candidates. You’ll evangelize the way ezCater identifies, engages, and evaluates talent.
- A strong understanding of full stack engineering. You can read a resume, a LinkedIn profile, and a GitHub page to find talent with the right skill sets.
- The ability to turn cold outreach into warm leads through research, approach, and follow-through.
- A passion for building diverse teams.
This is a critical hire. You’ll help build ezCater’s talent department by defining our approach and presence. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the role recruiting plays in fast-growing companies and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
