One of the cornerstones of our ecosystem is HubSpot’s Startups Program, an entrepreneurial program inside the company whose mission it is to help early stage startups leverage inbound marketing and sales to drive growth for their businesses. The team maintains strategic relationships with globally recognized accelerators, incubators and entrepreneurial organizations like Gan, TechStars, MassChallenge and YCombinator, and provides special software discounts and programming to their enrolled startup companies. The program has scaled to over 500 Partners and 1300 startup companies in its’ first 18 months, and the team has aggressive plans to grow that network globally in 2017. Marketing will play an important role in fueling that growth.

The person who fills this role will be a key member of both the HubSpot marketing and business development teams. They will be tasked with playing a major role in building and executing the growth playbook needed to ensure HubSpot is the preferred sales and marketing platform for startups all over the world. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leveraging paid, CRO, search and other growth marketing tactics to increase visibility and awareness for the HubSpot for Startups program globally
  • Optimizing marketing automation workflows and triggers to help drive an efficient, low-touch sales process for the HubSpot for Startups venture specialist team
  • Helping drive high product adoption rates and an effective upgrade path inside the HubSpot for Startups customer base

This person would ideally have 3-5 years of experience in some of the following areas:

  • Traffic generation skills like search engine optimization, social and paid media
  • Conversion rate optimization skills like landing page creation and UX/design
  • Writing/editorial skills like blogging and ebook/webinar creation
  • Data analysis & strategy creation
  • Project management and vendor management
  • Relationship management
