Full Stack Web Developer, Java

About the Requirements

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Senior Web Developer to lead a team focused on enhancing and updating iZotope’s internal and external web applications. The right candidate will possess demonstrable experience leading web development efforts, the ability to work within different web technologies, be fluent in updating applications for modern architectures, and have expertise working with modern eCommerce and marketing technology systems.

Responsibilities will include:

● Updating and modernizing a collection of internal legacy web applications that support

internal business processes and functions at iZotope

● Enhancing existing web services, back-end databases and related applications that form

the backbone of iZotope’s customer-facing web presence

● Working with IT to monitor production and development websites and databases for

errors, downtime and performance issues

● Working with website and platform vendors to assist in porting content and functionality

from current system to new platform, as well as helping resolve technical and

administrative issues

● Building customer-facing web applications based on requirements and use cases

defined by marketing and sales

Required Qualifications:

● BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

● 7+ years of experience in professional web application development

● Expert web development skill set in either .NET and/or Java

● Experience with related front-end web technologies (JavaScript/JQuery, CSS, HTML5)

● Experience with database design and development (schema design, complex SQL

queries)

● Familiarity with RESTful services

● Current working knowledge of modern technologies, architecture principles, and

development processes for web

● Fast learner, excellent communications skills and detail-oriented

● Team player comfortable working in small teams

● Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

● Prior experience as a team lead

● Familiar with web applications/services deployed in AWS infrastructure

● Familiar with Adobe Experience Manager platform

● Experience with Git, IIS 7+, Python, Visual Basic 6

● Experience working in an Agile development environment with Atlassian tools

● Direct experience with Microsoft SQL Server
