Full-Stack Software Engineer (Cloud Microservices)

Beco enables real-time interactions and long-term location analytics down to the granularity of a single person in a single room. The Senior Software Engineer will focus on building a massively scalable IoT-enabled service that can stream process data into valuable insights for our growing customer list.
We are based out of CIC Boston, a hotbed of Boston's tech startup activity just minutes from the Redline. Expect to work alongside interesting, passionate, and creative professionals, with an unending supply of coffee, tea, soda, and snacks, fun events, and an onsite gym membership.

Responsibilities
· Collaborate on the design and implementation of 'big-data' microservices that leverage our location hit stream to deliver real-time interactions at scale
· Collaborate with principal architect to develop and deploy backend services using the latest in PaaS/IaaS technology from one or more cloud hosting services (Azure, AWS, etc)
· Initiate and deliver high-level, client-facing systems and back-end software architecture
Skills
· Backend Web Frameworks (Java/Spring, Ruby/Rails, Python/Django)
· Front-End Web Development (HTML5/CSS/React/Javascript)
· Cloud PaaS Services (Kinesis Streams, Azure Event Hub, etc)
· DevOps (Linux Administration, Networking, IT Automation, SW Deployment)
· Strong understanding of core CS/SE theory and application
· Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
· Minimum of 3 years of industry experience
