The video industry is exploding! We seek a creative and independent thinking marketing executive who has a passion for the fast changing way products and services are marketed. This person will have the ability to lead and execute marketing programs that cut through the increasingly crowded marketing landscape and drive emotional engagement. Summary

Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Marketing, and working with the sales and executive management teams, the Marketing Director will be responsible for driving demand for our products and services, implementing all branding and PR activities, managing the website, and being an evangelist for our company.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop our marketing and communication strategy, that will build exposure for the company’s brand and thought leadership, as well as generate and nurture business leads, including events, content marketing, online (across multiple platforms including company website, blogs, social, and video), and public relations.
  • Translate the overall Company Strategic Plan into an annual marketing and communication plan, working with the SVP Sales/Marketing, CEO, and appropriate management team members.
  • Develop multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns, working collaboratively with business development professionals across the company, creating leads through direct online activities (email, SEO, SEM, social media) and industry events.
  • Lead the development of the marketing and communications strategic plan (including digital marketing strategies), aligning marketing metrics directly with business metrics and ROI’s, resulting in profitable top-line revenue growth for the company.
  • Create go-to-market strategies, in concert with the business development team, including identify target clients, delineate buyer personas, create value propositions, provide competitive positioning, et al.
  • Conduct presentations to the management leadership team, outlining company-wide marketing and communications strategies and activities.
  • Develop and implement communications and media strategies that externally and successfully communicate company information/key messages to current and future clients, future employees, and the general public.
  • Support company relationships with external partners that support company-wide marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Coordinate, attend, and speak at industry events and at the company’s customer user group meetings. Meet with customers and prospects on occasion.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience leading a successful marketing and communications program
  • Strong experience and background in marketing and communications strategies, as well as tactics for a professional service business
  • CRM/marketing automation strategy, analytics, and reporting experience is highly preferred
  • Strong annual budget development and management background

  • Experience establishing and managing budgets.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, even under stress
  • Ability to travel.
