Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Director to lead our Field Operations team and scale our current field operations from 30 states to a robust national network. This new role will work with the executive team to develop a strategic vision for a best-in-class field experience and then create an actionable plan to get us there. The ideal candidate will bring energy, ideas, and execution to our vision of creating a network of field technicians who love working with Zagster.
In addition, a strong candidate will be able to motivate and direct a growing team, hold staff accountable for high-quality results, work across teams to solve problems for the good of the company, and use data to support decision making.
What you'll do:
- Recruit, manage and develop a high-performing team
- Drive cross-functional strategic planning for Zagster to unlock opportunities with our field technicians
- Ensure field technicians love Zagster through every aspect of the end-to-end technician experience
- Identify opportunities to accelerate and improve field technician hiring
- Serve as a thought-leader on the field technician experience internally
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the company to drive meaningful changes to our operations and ensure we are fulfilling our customers’ needs
- Design, build and scale improvements to the Fleet team’s processes to meet challenging goals, backed in analytics and trend analysis
- Aggregate trends and proactively deliver feedback in a structured way to key stakeholders across the company
Who you are:
- 5-8 years in logistics or operations
- 3-5 years managing people with a proven ability to motivate, coach and direct others in an effective way
- You are an operations and logistics guru and have an internal drive to optimize everything
- You love using technology to drive efficiency
- You are metrics-driven and comfortable analyzing data to develop insights and action plans
- You have experience working with field staff and/or physical assets
- You can easily deal with a fast-paced, quickly changing work environment and thrive in a dynamic working environment
- You have excellent time management skills and can effectively manage competing priorities and responsibilities effectively
- You are known for your ability to present and communicate effectively to drive change
- You have a positive, can-do attitude
