Job Description:

We are actively hiring a full-time Director of Engineering who wants to play a role in helping create something meaningful that will greatly impact people’s lives. In this role, you are accountable for the health and effectiveness of PatientPing's development organization.

What You Will Do:

• Work with the VPE to establish the culture, vision, and structure of the development team

• Recruit, hire, mentor, inspire, and retain top talent

• Partner with project management to design, apply, measure, and refine the SDLC

• Provide overall architectural leadership and support

• Create an environment that promotes the creation of beautiful, expressive code and comprehensive tests

• Collaborate with the Product team to produce our next generation of industry-leading healthcare products

What You Need:

• Demonstrated success leading software development organizations for complex, distributed SaaS solutions

• 7+ years managing direct reports

• 10+ years writing and designing modern software solutions, preferably including Java and Spring

• Deep data processing expertise, including relational and non-relational technologies

• Experience implementing cloud-based microarchitectures (AWS preferred)

• Experience designing and applying a hiring process

• Strong understanding of Agile SDLCs
