Mission: Build an acquisition marketing engine to deliver against aggressive targets.

We are hiring an experienced demand gen marketer deeply steeped in modern B2B SaaS and digital marketing practices to achieve quarterly targets through paid and organic acquisition strategies.

Barkly is pioneering Runtime Malware Defense, a new type of endpoint protection that protects businesses from sophisticated cyberattacks by recognizing and blocking malicious behavior. We launched our product last fall and have experienced strong initial traction. We’re looking to ramp both our paid and organic acquisition efforts to take advantage of two major industry trends: businesses in all industries are seeking to replace or augment traditional antivirus with more modern endpoint protection and security spend is increasing across the board.

As the demand gen marketer, you will play a critical role in Barkly’s success. You will devise multi-channel strategies to reach IT decision makers, generate interest in Barkly’s Runtime Malware defense, and make optimizations across the conversion funnel to maximize free trial signups.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and analyze Barkly’s demand generation strategy to meet Barkly’s acquisition and revenue goals including a mix of paid and organic marketing tactics (SEO/SCM, social, email, retargeting, display, content syndication, etc.)
  • Analyze all aspects of Barkly’s conversion funnel and identify optimizations to maximize conversion and marketing ROI
  • Define, launch, and measure growth experiments to learn what channels, campaigns, and offers work best
  • Collaborate with contractors on Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and paid social programs
  • Grow and manage the company’s social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) with the goal of driving traffic to Barkly’s website
  • Collaborate with Sales to understand sales process and sales cycles to develop quantitative measures to ensure Bakly meets and exceeds revenue targets
  • Opportunity to build and manage a demand gen team as the company grows

The Ideal Person:

  • You’re a digital marketing geek who reads up on the latest trends and gets excited to experiment with the latest adtech.
  • You’re relentlessly competitive. You wake up in the morning and immediately check your campaign stats to see if you’re beating last week’s campaigns. You obsess over CPL and conversion metrics.
  • You love getting hands on with the data to understand why campaigns succeeded or failed, and sharing your learnings with the team
  • Once you put your mind to the task you can’t stop generating new ideas for ads, offers, landing pages, and CTAs
  • You have a bias for action. You can’t wait to put your ideas into practice and seek the most efficient ways to get things done.
  • You’re a team player who can motivate others to share your sense of competitive urgency and drive towards big results.

Must-Have’s:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5+ years experience in demand generation or or user acquisition at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
  • Strong quantitative skills and experience using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, and Hubspot to analyze a conversion funnel
  • Ability to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment while balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities
  • Experience building, analyzing, and optimizing SEM, paid social, and display advertising campaigns
  • Experience managing a budget and maximizing marketing ROI
