Every day, business professionals across the U.S. use search engines to find reliable, local restaurants and caterers to deliver food for their meetings and events. Come help us harvest that intent by positioning ezCater content high in the natural search engine results. Increase awareness of our offerings in our target audiences, accelerate our customer acquisition, and get us closer to that 10X growth rate.
What you’ll do:
- Develop our organic search strategy, and lead its execution across your own team and multiple departments and external resources.
- Optimize our website and online store for inclusion in the search indices and ranking in the SERPs (working closely with our development team).
- Drive keyword research and identify opportunities to target performing traffic with site optimization and content development (working closely with our SEM team).
- Build a flow of content aimed at leveraging those keyword opportunities to acquire new customers and capture new qualified leads for our sales teams (working closely with other content creators inside and outside of ezCater).
- Raise our domain authority by driving inbound links and social mentions (working closely with PR and SEO agency resources).
- Develop content to build awareness in our target market (working closely with our communications and social marketing teams).
If you:
- Have 5-10+ years of experience delivering stellar results in SEO and content marketing (including campaigns targeted across specific local geographies and multiple devices).
- Always start with data to guide a strategy or bolster a discussion or decision.
- Are creative enough to develop compelling content that appeals to humans and search engine algorithms alike.
- Can source and wrangle a group of contributors to produce great content to support your strategy.
- Love to “just figure things out” and invent whatever idea or approach could accomplish our objectives.
- Can own and deliver projects/programs by yourself AND play well with others.
