The Director of Acquisition Marketing will be responsible for building and scaling a next level user generation playbook while continually innovating our world-class lead generation program.

This person should be fluent in a wide range of traffic acquisition strategies, including content, search, social, paid and affiliate marketing and is both a talented people manager and an analytically minded contributor. You must be confident conducting independent analyses to determine channel performance and design future strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design and execute a multi-channel traffic acquisition strategy, testing and implementing a first of its kind marketing free user acquisition strategy
  • Manage our global co-marketing team, working with partners to develop creative approaches to expose HubSpot to new audiences
  • Design and implement creative programs that will continually increase organic traffic
  • Motivate team to hit aggressive lead, demand and user generation goals to support our high growth business
  • Manage and deploy program budgets to drive scale from our highest ROI campaigns
  • Measure and optimize full funnel conversion to adapt acquisition tactics
  • Stay current on the latest acquisition strategies, channels and technology
  • Constantly innovating to improve acquisition performance

A strong candidate will have:

  • 7-10 years of experience in a marketing leadership role with a focus on lead gen or acquisition
  • A strong background in using data to inform acquisition strategy
  • Experience building and managing multi-channel acquisition strategies, including but not limited to content, search, social, paid and affiliate marketing
  • A passion for great campaigns and an eye for arbitrage opportunities
  • Experience leading a mid-sized team to achieve outsized results
  • Experience with marketing automation (HubSpot is a plus!)
  • Strong business partnering experience across multiple departments; ability to successfully collaborate cross-functionally to achieve company goals
