AMP Agency is looking for a Project Manager to join our Boston office.

At AMP, our Delivery team ensures that our big ideas come to life. They work in partnership with our Account Management team to ensure that our client’s creative and technology campaigns and programs are launched flawlessly, on time and within budget.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for scoping, managing and delivering on all interactive and creative programs for clients based in our Boston office. This role will partner with multiple teams to drive strategy, user experience, design, development, media alignment and quality assurance on digital projects. The Project Manager will also assist with the development of new business opportunities ensuring scope and budgets are properly set.

This position requires that the candidate be a self-starter, extremely organized, detail oriented and highly motivated. The successful candidate will also possess the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities while managing client and peer expectations, timelines and coordination between various resources.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Project and Resource Management
  • Partner with planning, account, media, search and measurement teams to effectively create, maintain and deliver on integrated project plans
  • Manage and organize projects across multiple clients on a daily basis ensuring appropriate resource allocation and delivery oversight
  • Develop, manage and fulfill against macro project timelines and weekly / bi-weekly sprint timelines
  • Proactively manage projects, through regular status updates, recognize dependencies and escalate issues as needed
  • Own all project documentation including wireframes, sitemaps, technology specs, work orders, and change orders
  • Manage Creative, UX and Technology personnel, ensuring all deadlines are hit
  • Manage assignment, review and closure of all internal creative and tech task assignments
  • Manage complex websites and CMS systems from an editing and delivery standpoint
  • Manage internal and external counterparts on everything digital including complex technologies and platforms
  • Keep team members, supervisors and clients informed of all relevant issues as they arise

Client Management:

  • Create, maintain and promote successful client relationships
  • Present solutions and recommendations based on clients’ goals and objectives
  • Create project requirement documents and other planning materials
  • Create client training and transition materials as needed
  • Scoping and Budget Management
  • Estimate personnel needs and associated hours for existing client projects and new business opportunities to arrive at accurate project scopes
  • Deliver clear scope of work documents and written estimates
  • Ongoing budget management and reconciliation against creative and technology projects
  • Manage freelance resources as needed ensuring that the agency has a “bench” of available talent to supplement internal resources

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of experience in an agency setting as a Producer or Project Manager
  • Understanding of digital marketing and technology projects, including social media, website builds, OLA, rich media, and video production
  • Understanding of web development technologies (CMS, PHO, .NET, Sitecore, HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Ability to manage multiple, aggressive project timelines in a calm manner
  • Persuasive communicator who is able to help prioritize tasks and manage teams across all levels of the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated interest in keeping up with emerging technologies and digital marketing trends
  • Microsoft Office and Project
