Aetna Digital is looking for Sr. DevOps Engineer with experience working in fast-paced startup like environments. Aetna Digital is looking for talented Sr DevOps professionals with deep technical backgrounds and experience designing, building, and maintaining engineering and production Environments. Experience working as part of a team is critical, with natural leadership skills a plus. Aetna Digital is looking for DevOps Engineers who will drive forward innovation and help deliver cutting edge application solutions.

Fundamental Components:

- Strong desire to automate everything

- Experience with CI/CD build tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, etc)

- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, and/or JavaScript

- Configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Terraform, etc

- Infrastructure and service monitoring and logging experience

- An understanding of application deployment patterns and best practices 

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

- 5+ years of DevOps or Infrastructure experience

- Experience with AWS tools and services 

- Experience with distributed application containers (Docker)

- Familiarity with micro services architecture

- Experience working in an Agile SCRUM (or SAFe) SDLC

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
