About the Team
As a member of the Information Technology team, you will be responsible for ensuring Brightcove employees can get their work done! The IT team works with Brightcove employees across all departments of the company, providing solutions that allow the company to continue moving forward!
About the Role
As a Desktop Support Engineer at Brightcove you will work closely with the IT staff on tickets, projects and any issues that may arise where IT is needed. Your contributions will benefit not only the Brightcove platform, but the company as well! The successful candidate will:
- Be a helpdesk master and handle problem resolution and systems troubleshooting
- Work on projects to help automate and improve workflows with laptop setups
- Identify and provide possible improvements on procedures
- Explore and implement policies within Casper JAMF Suite
- Assist with onboarding employees and provisioning accounts
- Google Apps, Slack and other SAAS account management
- Troubleshoot and solve MacOS and Windows issues that may arise
- Provide support for A/V in meetings / conference rooms / etc
Required Experience
- 2+ years of IT desktop support experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- A high degree of technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize appropriately
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience troubleshooting MacOS and Windows
- Knowledge of OS installation, configuration, management, and patching
- Experience with Google Apps
- Familiarity with a VoIP telephony environment
- Experience with Hardware/Software Asset Management
- Handling other duties as assigned
- Should be able to lift 30lbs
Bonus Experience
- Familiarity with Casper/JAMF Pro
- Knowledge of Jira
- Automation and scripting experience
- Familiarity with Active Directory
