About our Data Scientist position:
We are building our data science team and are looking for talented people to help us learn from our rapidly growing datasets. Our data ranges from inventory depletions, to transactional/eCommerce, to behavioral. We hope to harness this all to provide better experiences for both our users and our retail partners, and to deliver value to all players in the beverage alcohol industry.
Requirements- Degree or meaningful experience in CS/Machine Learning or Statistics
- 3+ years experience as a data scientist or data engineer
- Strong computer science fundamentals and programming ability
- Ability to work with big datasets with minimal engineering support
- Comfortable in a small, intense and high-growth start-up environment
- Intuition - As important as finding answers is the instinct to ask the right questions
- Thirst for knowledge - You likely currently possess very few of the skills that you will need to bring to bear while at Drizly
- Ability to prioritize - You can simultaneously explore new ideas and drive the winning ones through to the end
- Optimism - You are okay encountering many more dead ends then lights at the end of the tunnel.
