HubSpot is looking to add a Data Engineer to our team.
Position Responsibilities:
Design, build, and support data warehouses, and analyze and process data. Create and support various ETL scripts, jobs, and technologies. Support APIs, tools, and third party products to extract data from Cloud/SaaS Applications. Tune and optimise data storage technologies such as MySQL and HBase. Work within the Business Intelligence team and across the organisation to deliver needed data as well as provide ongoing data quality monitoring and support, and respond to and remedy data queries from our user base. Extract information from systems such as Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Google Apps, Box, Cisco UCCX, and our own product to create data models. Position is in a fixed location based in the Cambridge office, however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.
Position Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered, data pipeline development, or a related technical field or role. Experience must also include: strong software development skills, SQL database design and implementation, Open Source/Linux development, Python, Bash, Java, and SQL. Experience with large-scale data operations required. Position is in a fixed location based in the Cambridge office, however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.
