The Community Managers are responsible for building community through both online and offline channels. The Community Managers will engage, educate, and advocate on behalf of our community and will work cross-functionally throughout the organization to optimize the user experience. Your work will include serving as a resource and support center our community of car owners, crafting content for local marketing efforts, hosting local events ranging from intimate gatherings to large scale productions, and ultimately ensuring that Getaround's community is front and center in everything we do.

What you'll be doing
  • Serve as a resource and ambassador to local Getaround community
  • Provide first-class support and account management to a growing number of Getaround car owners
  • Work closely with Community Team at HQ to identify opportunities to nurture and engage your local market
  • Collaborate with Content team to maintain local content calendar and digital presence across social channels
  • Coordinate local events ranging from owner happy hours to full-blown parties
  • Help grow local community through marketing efforts, including field marketing, partnerships and email marketing
About You
  • You're a people person. You thrive working with others and love building personal connections
  • You are organized, and like to create structure when it's lacking
  • You're a problem solver and are confident in your decision making abilities
  • You're empathetic but can remain calm under pressure
  • You are data-driven and are comfortable using numbers to drive your initiatives forward
  • You have exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • You have 1+ years experience in Customer Support or Community Management position

  • Social media savviness with a professional online presence
  • Marketing or event planning skills and experience
