GNS Healthcare is the leader in health data analytics. We have built and maintain a suite of unique analytics capabilities, hosted in the cloud, and we apply these tools to interesting problems found in the pharmaceutical, care delivery, and managed care domains. 

The Business Development Associate will support various aspects of business development and sales operations. The associate will work closely with members of the business development team to create, develop engagements with potential customers, track, streamline, and improve sales operations, including revenue forecasting.

This position will report directly to C-level, SVP and VP executives at GNS healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct business proposals for key projects and collaborations
  • Conduct market research (e.g. potential customers, disease areas, competitor analysis, etc.)
  • Create sales collateral
  • Generate company-wide periodic forecast reports
  • Track sales operations from lead generation to contract signing
  • Optimize sales process and handoff to project teams

Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. (preferably MBA)
  • B.Sc. / B.A. degree
  • Five years’ experience in sales, finance, operations or business development positions

Experience / Skills:

  • Experience with handling multiple deadlines, with a history of succeeding at multitasking
  • Team player with strong drive and willing to make an impact, working effectively across the organization
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-functional team environment and have a proactive mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business and analytic acumen
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of biology and/or statistics and analytics
