The ideal candidate will have experience developing an Android application from initial conception through submittal to the Android marketplace. They must be proficient with Java and object-oriented programming, including software design and design patterns, as well as standard Java development tools such as (IntelliJ, Android Studio, Eclipse or ADT). Proficiency with open source frameworks or third-party libraries specific to Android applications is also required.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field 
• Experienced Application Developer with launched products for Android 
• At least 4+ years of professional programming experience 
• At least 2+ years of Java Android programming experience required 
• Expertise at mobile optimization / best practices 
• Experience with Android SDK, GUI development, Android multithreading. 
• Working knowledge of the general Android/mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies 
• Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban), 
• Experience with object-oriented design and implementation 
• Experience creating reusable components with elegant, intuitive API interfaces 
• Experience using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications to server side systems 
• Experience with source code management in a collaborative environment 
• Ability to evaluate solutions both in terms of algorithm and data structure fundamentals as well as object oriented design principles 
• Able to professionally communicate with other team members
