The Advertising Operations Specialist plays an integral role in the Advertising Operations department at SmarterTravel. This individual works directly with the Sales, Finance, and Product Management teams as well as our online advertisers and external ad agencies to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize online advertising campaigns. The right candidate is responsive, collaborative and a self-starter. We’re looking for a detail oriented and organized individual who also likes to have a good time and enjoys working in a fast-paced, fun environment. The Specialist will support multiple functions online and will own their own specific projects, supporting the growth of the overall Advertising Operations Team.

What You’ll Do in this Role:

• Traffic and monitor online advertising campaigns across the SmarterTravel network
• Manage creative uploads, creative testing, optimization, and any applicable edits
• Analyze campaigns to insure all campaign goals are met including start and end dates, impression delivery, and any associated actions
• Work in Doubleclick and our internal CMS to create and maintain text link and display based advertisements including proposal management
• Optimize existing campaigns to help increase revenue and margins, along with cultivating a strong and productive relationship with clients
• Build relationships with internal Product and Sales teams as well as outside network participants
• Estimate and report on current/future available inventory levels
• Assist with monthly reconciliation and invoicing for all campaigns
• Troubleshoot technical issues
• Participate in weekly Sales/Business Development meetings

Who You Are:

• Detail oriented individual with trafficking experience and knowledge of ad serving technology – Doubleclick preferred
• You love excel and want to use it more!
• You have familiarity with content management systems
• Knowledge of the Internet and HTML
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• You have 2+ years of work experience, preferably in online search and display advertising
• BA or BS required
